Clio
My name is Clio.
I am an Artist, Community Weaver, and Transpersonal Mentor for families.
I am mama of two children. I am a partner. I am a sister. I am a daughter.
My purpose is to support families in making meaningful connections with nature, others and oneself. Through playful and experiential opportunities to explore creative expression, movement and nature based practices, is our doorway to healing home.
I specialise in working with Family and Community Wellbeing, by creating healing spaces that integrate Art Therapy, Nature Connection and Movement Meditation in a playful way.
My passion to share is in deep respect to the lineages and respected teachers I learn from in Australia and overseas, and my own experienced connection and practice with the work. Working with nature, I honour the past, present and future of this land and First Nations peoples. I bring my recent Chinese and Irish ancestry through my family line, and hope to connect back to the core of all human ancestry.
I have worked with children and the extended communities for over 10 years in schools, community centres and private. I weave in my experience, qualifications and study in Transpersonal Art Therapy, Fine Arts, Art Theory, and nature-based healing, earth arts and wild crafts, social and cultural studies, healing and bodywork, family and community support. I am First Aid certified and have a Working with Childrens Check.
